Police have charged a Bayshore, Long Island man with reckless endangerment for allegedly booby-trapping his apartment door with a large knife taped to a crutch.
Authorities say the building superintendent at 315 Brook Avenue discovered the crude device while trying to open the door for a phone company worker on Thursday.
Police say the contraption appeared to be set up to injure anyone who walked in.
The resident, Eric Stetz, was arrested Saturday and released on bail. He could not be immediately reached for comment. . .[Story and Photo via 1010wins]
